GRABBING OPTIONS
In this section of the interface you are able to set the interval (in
seconds) at which screenshots are captured by the parental control spyware.
You may also set the interval (in days) at which folders of previous days
screenshots are deleted, purge the current folder contents, choose between
greyscale and full color screen captures, and instruct WTD to start automatically
everytime your computer starts.
Be sure to click "Save Settings"
to record the changes you've made. You will then need to click "Stop
Grabbing" and then "Start Grabbing", or restart the computer
for the changes to take effect.
ABOUT PARENTAL CONTROL SPYWARE SETTINGS
It is suggested that you leave the interval for screen capture at the
default setting, and not less than every 10 seconds. This is to prevent
any noticible keyboard/mouse lag during the save process, and to simply
cut down on memory usage. Usually very little screen changes take place
in such a short period, and extending the capture interval can also reduce
review time. Setting the autodelete option at 2-3 days and saving the
images in greyscale are also recommended to limit memory requirements.
SLIDE SHOW OPTIONS
This section allows you to choose between manual advance (click through)
and auto advance screenshot review. Autoplay interval can be set at 1-30
seconds. To review saved screenshots, choose a date on the left side of
the interface and click "Play Slide Show". Click-through controls
and a slide show Exit button will be present in the bottom left hand corner
of the screen during the slide show.
