WatchThem Desktop is a computer monitoring
system that saves screenshots (snapshots of what is seen on the monitor)
at specified intervals. This parental control spyware is to be installed
only on a computer that you own. Anyone other than your own child must
be informed that they are being monitored. The program runs hidden from
the Windows Task Manager so that it is difficult for anyone except the
operator to detect or shutdown.
INSTALLATION
After downloading, double-click the file "Setup.exe" to install
WatchThem Desktop. As the installer of this software, you are required
to know the directory location at which you want the application to be
installed. You may select the default location in the Program Files, or
use your browser to select a more hidden location. The setup process will
end by instructing you to restart your computer. Depending on your operating
system, screenshot recording may begin automatically after restart, so
be sure to access the program at your first opportunity if you wish to
suspend recording or change the default settings.
ACCESSING WTD PARENTAL CONTROL SPYWARE
Find the folder where you installed WatchThem Desktop and double-click
the file WTD.exe. The main interface will appear. If this is your first
time using the application, you should click on "Register Program"
in the bottom left corner of the interface and enter your registration
code to avoid future deactivation. It's also a good idea to select "Change
Password" to setup password authorization. The next time you double-click
WTD.exe, you will be required to enter the password in order to access
the interface.
CLOSING WATCHTHEM DESKTOP
Clicking "Exit" or the "X" in the upper right corner
will close the interface, but not stop the image capture process. If you
wish to shut the program down, you must click "Stop Grabbing",
deselect "Start Grabbing when Windows starts", and then click
"Exit". To completely stop all processes, it's recommended that
you uninstall WTD.
